It’s no secret that T-shirt dress is one of the most versatile and comfy pieces in your wardrobe. When I’m running out of time, t-shirt dress is one of the items I tend to reach out for! However, they can be boring when you always wear them with a pair of sneakers and call it a day.
For this look, I turned this dress into a casual street style affair. I teamed it with my matching colour, adidas super star sneakers. To add an edge to the outfit, I wore a pair of fishnet tights.
Fishnets are probably one of those accessories you’ve pondered, only to land on an “I could never pull that off” verdict. Some of you might go straight to stereotypical images like old fashioned saloon girls. However, fishnet tights don’t need to go in the trashy direction. In fact, they spice up your outfit by adding some patterns.
Lastly, I finished off the look with a black choker, a bold lip colour and my favourite tote bag.
Off-shoulder, one shoulder, or cold shoulder, I’m totally lusting over them and seriously hoping they will stick around! Not only they give off that subtle sexy vibe by showing off some skin without bearing it all, they are also the perfect pieces to look put together effortlessly.
For this look, I wanted something feminine, so I teamed my new purchase, burgundy floral print cold shoulder top with my favourite short denim skirt. I absolutely love this cold shoulder top as it features a halter neckline! If you’ve cold or off shoulder tops, you probably know the struggle of making sure they stay in place! But with the help of halter neckline, there’s no need to keep on adjusting those fallen stripes! The other reason I love this top is the breathable fabric that makes it easy for wearing in tropical climate!
For bag, I’ve chosen a burgundy mini crossbody to complement the colour of my top. To spice up the look I wear a pair of dazzling long hoop earrings. Lastly, I slipped into my black pointed-toe flats and called it a day!

Fashion you can buy but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are. Which takes years. There’s no how to road map style. It’s about self-expression and, above all, attitude. – Iris Apfel
Celine, Kim, and I went to Penang Fashion Week last Saturday for the Miss Selfridge, Warehouse and Dorothy Perkins show.
I wanted to create a chic look. Hence, I’ve chosen my trusty bell sleeved top from Zara. I’m a huge fan of bell sleeves as they hide all your flaws (your flabby arms), and without a doubt they instantly inject a dramatic and fun accents. Not to forget, they are the best way to look fashion forward right now!
With a statement top, you don’t need to worry about your bottom because the statement piece is what everyone will be focusing on! So, invest in some statement
To balance out the oversized proportion, I paired it with a short black leather skirt. The combination of leather skirt and bell sleeve blouse gives off that edgy yet feminine vibe. For bag, I carried my current favourite floral embellished statement crossbody as the blue hue matched well with my blue top, and of course I like how the floral embellishment intensify my look. Lastly, I finished off my look with a pair of lace-up pom-pom heels.

“Dressing well is a form of good manners” – Tom Ford
Today’s topic is totally unrelated with fashion or travel. It’s just me wanting to put my thoughts on the incident which I can never get rid from my head into words.
So let’s wind back to the Saturday, 25th March 2017. After attending a charity dinner with my dad and sis, we decided to pull over our car and grab some light supper as we hardly ate during the dinner.
In the middle of our meal, an Indian man (approximately 40 years old) approached us and asked for money. Usually we won’t straight away give them money. Instead, we give them food or stuff they need. As we do not want to give them the perception of getting easy money just by begging. Besides, sometimes they ask you for money not because of meal but for the sake of cigarette or even worse, drugs (You might not agree with me as different people have different perspective)!
My dad then asked him why does he need the money. He said he need food, so my dad told him to order and he will pay. At first, he refused and just keep on asking for money but we insisted and eventually he agreed to order his meal. So here comes the interesting part, the lady boss came over and start yelling at him not to bother customer. I understand that he might always come over to your shop and bother you but do you really need to yell? Can’t you just speak nicely?
Always treat people the way you wanted to be treated.
And the worse thing the lady boss did is she gave him the food so reluctantly! This really pissed me off, and all she gave was just rice and soup (and it costs us RM5, with that value of money, we should have just brought him some better food). Besides, I remembered when he asked for a plastic bag, she yelled at him AGAIN, saying he was annoying! Tsk, tsk what the hell is this shit?! We have already said we will pay for him, so treat him like he is your customer not a beggar! Even a beggar does not deserve this kind of treatment. If I were you, I would have just offer him the food, yes even everyday doesn’t costs you a hella dollar!
That’s all for this post, I am seriously really upset why there is so many sick attitude in the society nowadays!

Last Saturday, which is the 1st of April, my sister (Celine) and I finally went to our first Coldplay’s (A Head Full of Dream) concert in Singapore! It was seriously one of the best time of my life. Until today, everything still felt so surreal and magical! I have to admit I’m still having the “Coldplay hangover”!
I’ve been a huge fan of Coldplay since I was pretty young (primary school I guess) and I was sooo upset when i missed the opportunity to go their concert when I was studying in the U.K.. When they announced their Asia tour a few months back, we were so trilled and promised each other we’re going to secure the tickets no matter what. Thank god, we did it!!!
Hence, I think why not I share with you what I wore to Coldplay concert in case you’re thinking of how to style for any of the upcoming concert.
Since, it’s a rock concert, I wanted to create that rock and roll vibe. For top, I’ve chosen a black graphic tee. This black graphic top has this very cool eagle print on the front and my favourite part is it also showcases an open back with lace-up detailing! Making your back anything but BORING! However, if you have any of Coldplay t-shirt just wear them! What’s better than showing your love to your favourite band?! To intensify the edginess of my graphic top, I wore a black mini leather skirt. For shoes, I wore my trusty Adidas Stan Smith sneakers as I know there would be lots of standing and walking before the concert begins. Lastly, I finished off my look with a mini statement crossbody with floral embellished straps.
P.S if you’re wearing skirt make sure you bring a light jacket in case the weather turns chilly or you can actually cover your legs when you have to sit on the floor waiting for the gates to open. For bag, don’t bring big backpacks as they are not allowed. Just bring a small one which can fit in your passport/ IDs, power bank, phone and some notes!
