Bandana trend is officially back (YESSSS!) and it’s time for everyone to rejoice! Seriously, I’m so obsessed with bandana as it is the perfect accessory to elevate your fashion game! It’s literally a square print fabric which you can transform into various styles and shapes. You can tie it around your neck (which is the most classic way), your wrist, your head, or even on your bag! It’s extremely simple, subtle and effortless to work with!
For this look, I used my yellow bandana to spice up my white tee to create an elevated casual look. For bottoms, I go for a pair of mom jeans. Yes, MOM JEANS. You do not hear wrongly! I’m willing to bet that when you think of mom jeans, you would think of what on earth makes you want to wear these unflattering and downright hideous? Trust me, mom jeans can turn an outfit from boring to extraordinary as long as you find the great fit for your body type. Besides, they are super comfy to cruise from day to night! My favourite mom jeans are from TopShop as they showcase high rise cut (tbh they hide all your belly), relaxed fit, but slightly tapered and cropped which makes you look lean and tall! Then, I finished off the look with my trusty Adidas Stan Smith, a bold red lip to add a pop of colour, and a white mini crossbody.
This is definitely a look everyone can pull off easily and rock to classes, running errands, or the offices (if there’s no strict attire rules like mine). Most important is you don’t need to break the bank as I bet everyone’s wardrobe has at least one white basic tee. If it’s not white, you probably have them in black or grey.
P.S My favourite white basic tees are from Tommy Hilfiger and Zara in case you’re interested in getting yourself new ones. Tommy Hilfiger is my ultimate favourite when I want a figure hugging silhouette. And the quality is amazing even after numbers of wash. Besides, it also features a tiny logo on the top left, instantly makes your white tee anything but boring without overdo. For a slouchy fit, my favourite will be Zara’s. As it is very soft, airy and slightly slouchy which is super comfy to live in it!
