Striped Shirt & Denim Button Down Skirt

You know how much I love stripes by just looking at my usual day to day outfit! I really love stripes especially when they are printed on a button down shirt. You can literally team them with anything and everything. Ranging from jeans or a skirt and you will instantly look put together even though you just spend 5 minutes in getting ready (totally a cheatsheet! Don’t believe? Try it yourself!)

Check out how I styled striped off the shoulder here !

Instead of showcasing the button down front like the usual pieces, this top from Zara has them in a hidden manner which makes me love this top so much more. As it gives you a cleaner and minimal look. With the slightly oversized silhouette, this top is super comfy to live in while staying chic. The highlight of this top probably lies on the back which it showcases a bow accent and a cutout back. Making this top anything but boring!

To complement this striped button down shirt, I coordinate it with my all time favourite, black denim button down skirt. If you’re not a fan of skirt, you can always team it with jeans. For this top, a pair of white jeans can never go wrong especially they can intensify your summer nautical vibe.

For bag, I carried my seagrass hue saddle crossbody which featuring ring detail. The blue green hue just complements my top so well. Lastly, I finished off my look with a pair of white slip on with sling back detailing. This pair of shoes is extremely easy to wear especially when you’re running out of time and just want to slip on your shoes and look on point!

It’s never to late to be whoever you want to be. Live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, have the strength to start over.

Stripes Cold Shoulder Top X Denim Midi Skirt

When it comes to my favourite style, stripes, white palette, and showing off a little shoulder always make to the top of my list! Hence, when these three come together, I just couldn’t help but need to get my hands on em!

If you ask me, one can never own too many stripes! They are extremely versatile to cruise into any occasion and season. Whether you want to look smart for corporate or casual for weekends, stripes can never be wrong! The key of wearing stripes is, when you choose the vertical ones, they can actually elongate your figure and make you look leaner.

P.S If you want to inject nautical vibes to your outfit this summer, simply just opt white or blue stripes!

For this look, I wanted to create that summery and “mediterranean vacation” kind of look. For top, I’ve chosen this white striped cold shoulder top from Mango. This top has literally every details Im obsessed with. First, it showcases a cold shoulder cut that flaunts your skin without really bearing it all. Then, it has this frilly frills trimming the neckline, making this top utterly feminine and romantic. This top also showcases a tie front but I prefer to tuck it in for this look. And of course the vertical stripes that amplify the nautical vibe and elongates your figure.

To complement my top, I’ve picked a light washed denim midi skirt. When comes to Summer, white and blue just come hand in hand! This midi length skirt showcases a button down front, two front pockets and a raw hem. You can never say no when there are pockets right (especially when you don’t know how to pose your hands in your ootds, literally the best prop to use)!

For accessories, I kept it minimal, and clean in order to complement my colour palette. Hence, I’ve chosen my new favourite, white mini leather crossbody from Zara. And for shoes, I slipped into my usual Adidas Super Star.
